In preparation for the Indigenous Peoples' Meeting on Climate Change

Updated: Jun 22, 2019

Understanding Climate Change and what it means for Indigenous peoples is a complex issue. In the lead up to the meeting we prepared the Indigenous Peoples Meeting on Climate Change Reading Package for participants to review and consider during the course of the meeting. This reading package includes Climate Change 101, Climate Change Myths, Climate Change Policy 101 (local, national, and international), and Climate Change Solutions. We encourage you to download the Climate Change Glossary to help ensure you are familiar with language and concepts.

In addition, we hosted a webinar with Clayton Thomas Muller, Danika Littlechild, Melina Laboucan-Massimo and Eriel Deranger to stir up thoughts and getting people geared up for the meeting. If you missed it, no worries we've got you covered.

We recorded the speakers and have it available for you to watch at your leisure below.
