Sovereignty in Action Awards

The Sovereignty in Action Awards (SIA) are small financial gifts awarded to individuals and grassroots organizations who are advancing Indigenous Sovereignty within their territories  – from food sovereignty to cultural support, treaty rights advocacy and beyond.

In 2025, Indigenous Climate Action distributed 25 SIA Awards totally $65,000 directly into the hands of those leading powerful work across their territories and communities.
