Fall Into Action

Today is our official launch of our one-day Fall into Action campaign and this is your time to help us reach our donation goal by the END OF TODAY!
Our mission? Help us reach our $5,000 goal and support Indigenous climate solutions that honour the land and those who protect it by contributing to this campaign. Every donation will be matched up to $5,000 courtesy of DragonFly! Can you help us reach our goal by the end of the day? This is your opportunity to help make an impact!

Through quick progressions in life, there doesn’t come many opportunities that are long enough for us to take a pause, ground ourselves and catch our breath. However, the busyness lies as an invitation to seize opportunities that come our way. Transformation doesn’t happen overnight; it unfolds through intentions, consistency, and small daily actions that shape who we become. When we shift our focus through intentional goal setting, we find clarity in what matters most. For many, Mother Earth encompasses our thoughts and we do our part for Her with conscious actions.

It’s in these mindful moments that we find connection — not only with ourselves but with our communities and the land we live on.

Recently at the “Healing Through Moose Hide” event, the community came together to learn, reflect, and honour tradition. During the event, we honoured the teachings of the moose hide, listened to stories and learned traditional tanning methods while connecting with a shared purpose. Every story, movement, and moment served as a reminder of how Mother Earth sustains us, providing hides for warmth, food through harvest, and water for thirst. In return, it is our responsibility to protect and care for the land, just as it does for us.

As we carry these teachings forward, we’re reminded that tradition and transformation walk hand in hand, guiding us toward meaningful change.

But change doesn’t wait for us – it arrives when we act on spontaneity. Subtle yet persistent, it reminds us that growth is always available. Embracing this truth means taking responsibility for our energy, our commitments, and our values.

Discipline isn’t about restriction; it’s about devotion – showing up for what we believe in, even when it isn’t easy. Habits, in turn, become the structure that allows meaningful, progressive change to take root.

At any moment, we have the opportunity to align more deeply with our purpose, our communities, and our collective responsibilities. You may ask yourselves: How do we enact those changes?

Seasonal Shifts, Intentional Change, When the Seasons Speak, We Act, Aligning with Autumn's Intentions

As the fall season settles in, the once warm days begin to invite chilly mornings, vibrant colours, and cozier rhythms. We naturally slow down and find appreciation in alternating our routines to embrace a new season with fresh intentions. The crispness of the air, the days grow shorter, and the transitional colours on trees remind us that seasons are shifting, and with them come cycles of change. These are moments where we can bring intentions of change, conscious choices and direct action into fruition.

As we “Fall Into Action”, we invite you to join us at Indigenous Climate Action (ICA) in making a difference for our environments. Just as leaves fall from the trees to signal transformation, we ask for your support in creating change with us. Your support helps us continue our work and strengthen community-led initiatives that uplift Indigenous knowledge. By standing with us in solidarity, you help protect what is sacred.

Protecting What is Sacred, Together Turning Intentions to Impact, Be the Change, Defend the Sacred

Now is the time to create an impact in the protection of our lands and water, help us fight for a change in our futures that not only benefits our futures but for generations to come. Your donations create lasting impacts not only with Indigenous Climate Action but with Indigenous communities, land defenders, and you! We are fighting for a cause that impacts us all and it starts with how you chose to engage in defending what is sacred. Will you take this chance to create a lasting change with us this fall season?

Call to Action

By donating today, every dollar raised goes directly into our work, whether it’s creating and supporting resources on climate justice, offering workshops and training, or amplifying the voices of Indigenous Peoples across so-called Canada. You can also support us through sharing and amplifying our message to your networks and communities. You can help make an impact through the expansion of our audiences. ICA is always looking to engage with new partnerships, audiences who are new or unknown to climate justice initiatives, remote Indigenous communities, and share impact with other organizations that strive to actively make change for our environments.

While the seasons shift, our dedication to Mother Earth is forever. We invite you to fall into action with us: :

Donate Today: Your contribution directly funds Indigenous-led climate justice initiatives. Every dollar is an act of solidarity – a commitment to protecting what is sacred.

Spread the Word: Share this campaign with your networks.

Stay Engaged: Follow Indigenous-led organizations and activists.  Support policies that protect Indigenous rights.

Let’s do more than acknowledge the problem:  let’s act. Together, we can ensure that resources go where they are needed most, empowering Indigenous leadership and community-led solutions.
