MEDIA ADVISORY: RBC 2024 AGM Indigenous Delegation Host Water Walk ahead of Annual General Meeting

Highlighting the importance and sacredness of Water

Toronto, Ontario—On Wednesday, April 10, Indigenous delegates and allies attending Royal Bank of Canada’s (RBC) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will share concerns regarding fossil fuel projects, financed by RBC, that affect their lands and communities.

WHAT:

Black and Indigenous delegation and allies attending Royal Bank of Canada’s AGM will be participating in a Water Walk ending at St Regis Hotel (Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers Symposium venue). Speeches from Indigenous delegates, as well as an opportunity for photos and one-on-one media interviews with the delegation in the lead up to RBC’s 2024 Annual General Meeting on Thursday, April 11.
