Register for Part 2: Indigenous Peoples at the UNFCCC

Part 2 Looking to COP26 USE.png

Please join ICA for our second webinar leading up to the COP26 conference as we explore Indigenous concerns and priorities in regard to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, otherwise known as COP26. Our webinar is set to take place September 24, 2021, at 11 AM MT.

Some of the topics we’ll discuss include:

  • How does COP work?

  • What are big issues leading up to COP26, and the Indigenous Peoples Caucus?

  • And how to engage with COP26 in person or virtually.

COP26 is scheduled to take place this upcoming fall, and ICA is breaking down everything you need to know as we approach the Glasgow conference.

Indigenous Climate Action held our first part to our COP webinar series on August 27, 2021, which covered the historical aspects of the climate change conference, and why it’s important for Indigenous Peoples to be a part of it. You can view the recorded event here.

ICA’s Executive Director, Eriel Deranger is an active member of the UN Indigenous Peoples Forum on Climate Change and will be moderating the webinar series.
