Edmonton! Learn more about the upcoming taxpayer-funded CO2 pipeline in Alberta and how we can stop it!
The Oil Sands Alliance is planning to construct a massive, multi-billion dollar Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) project across northeast Alberta, paid for by taxpayers.
This project includes a CO2 pipeline run through regular Albertans’ backyards like ours, with massive safety and economic risks along the route. These are a new and largely untested technology, and a leaking or ruptured CO2 pipeline can harm people and animals within a 20 kilometre “hazard zone.”
Do you want a CO2 pipeline in your backyard?
We are organizing to protect our homes, farms, and communities from becoming a dumping ground for industrial waste.
Join No CO2 Pipelines Alberta for an engaging town hall. Speakers include representatives for Keepers of the Water, the National Farmers Union, and screen printing patches.
