Fossil Fools Day

  • Indigenous Climate Action (map)

April 6th, 5 days before RBC’s AGM, is Fossil Fools Day! Take action at an RBC branch near you to stand in solidarity with Indigenous Land Defenders resisting destructive projects funded by RBC.

RBC holds investments in:

  • The Coastal GasLink pipeline, which violates Wet’suwet’en rights and has led to militarized RCMP violence.

  • Tar sands extraction and pipelines, which violate Indigenous rights, cause devastating health impacts, and have led to ecocide.

  • Weapons and surveillance technology used to advance the genocide in Palestine, where 30,000 people, including 10,000 children, have been killed since October.

There is a growing, global movement standing in solidarity with Indigenous Peoples from Nations across Turtle Island and around the world. Join an action near you OR sign up to host your own: https://leadnow.ca/fossil-fools-day
