Jessica Christmas

Communications Manager

Jessica Christmas is a Mi'kmaq woman from the Membertou First Nation, located in Unama’ki (Cape Breton, NS.) She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from St. Thomas University.

Since March 2018, Jessica has been working in a communications role and recently stepped into the position of Communications Manager at ICA. She is excited about the opportunity to contribute to the organization's growth while continuing to learn, connect and collaborate with a talented team.  

In addition to her communications career, Jessica is a certified Wedding and Event Designer, having earned her certification from The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada Inc. in December 2021.

Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, she enjoys going for walks, attending her son’s hockey games, traveling, writing and interior decorating. She is committed to finding balance and growth in all aspects of her life.
