Jocelyn Joe-Strack

Dak’äläma, (Da-kal-a-ma) Jocelyn Joe-Strack is an Indigenous storyteller, scientist, professional Auntie and influencer from the Yukon’s Champagne and Aishihik (Ay-zhe-ak) First Nation. She was Director of the Reconnection Vision, a societal transformation guide and toolkit that sees us all living as whole people and in good relationship with ourselves, each other and the land. Jocelyn is currently Board Chair of the David Suzuki Foundation, Trustee of the Yukon First Nation School Board, and was formally Senior Advisor to the Auditor General of Canada. Her true passion is our long-ago stories, where she aspires to bring life to our ancient knowledge through storytelling, art, song, and as a foundation to drive our society’s transformation.
