Kylie Jack

Kylie is syilx (Okanagan) from Penticton and Osoyoos. She is a recent graduate of the dual-degree law program in Common Law and Indigenous Legal Orders (JD/JID) at the University of Victoria. She is an Articled Student at the Department of Justice in the British Columbia Regional Office. She is also studying in her second year of the Bachelor of the Nsyilxcen Language Fluency Degree online through the University of British Columbia, the first accredited Indigenous language degree program of its kind in the country. During her undergraduate degree at Simon Fraser University, she studied Criminology while being on the varsity women’s golf team, which competed in the NCAA’s Division II. She has been appointed to both the B.C. Indigenous Advisory Council on Agriculture and Food and the BCAFN 2SLGBTQQIA+ Council.
